Actually, I was surprised. Despite all the things he did that definately endangered his life, he wasn't exactly the kind of person you could imagine being killed by an animal. How many people do you think would have imagined him being killed by a crocodile or some other animal while making a clip for a TV show?

On a technical note, your heart is located pretty much in the middle of your chest, to the left of your chest you have a big "in-flow" artery that's why when you place your hand on the left side of your chest you can feel something pumping (thumping).
