Common respect on a forum is: Not making off-topic threads, especially not with the additional comment of "I can do whatever the hell i wish".

The golf thing has a humor side so I'm guessing this follows the rules even if the picture is removed?

Well, Adron, you might consider extending jigsaw a little latitude I mean, after all, he is a [vL] member.

I don't see how that changes anything.  vL are people too, you know.  We can do stupid things, or make mistakes, or whatever.

Well, since this topic has more than one humerous element (although small) perhaps the distasteful picture can now be removed?

Yea of course. I'm just saying how vL members can get away with more than we can, and that there is a double standard, to paraphrase your rules.

I tend to cover all vL's backs - no matter what, uphold their thoughts and support in anything. its called brotherhood.

If anybody in the clan needs help, and it's something I can do, I'll generally help them.  If somebody outside the clan needs help, I'll make as much effort to help them.  For the most part, anyway, I make exceptions for certain people both ways (ie, some people I help more willingly for whatever reason, and some people I try not to help because they annoy me).  It's called being nice. :)

I suppose. Maybe. Topics here are supposed to be funny always. This generally makes it a requirement that the first post is funny. Posting a long string of arguments, and then following up with a small funny post isn't acceptable. On the other hand, posting a small funny post first, that post sparking a discussion with a long string of arguments is ok.

To make it clear: If you post a topic here with the subject of "Ronald Reagan", the only way I can see of that being on-topic for this forum is if the post makes fun of Ronald Reagan, or something he did.

If I had seen this topic before it ended up getting a lot of replies, and someone else's moderating, it would've simply gone in the trash can.

What I really don't like is defending posting off-topic things with the comment "I can do whatever the hell i wish". That's about as disrespectful to a moderator as you can get.

vL isn't a brotherhood though. ;)

This isn't completely accurate. Some non-members can get away with more than other non-members. They get different biases - some people are believed to be annoying or ignorant. It takes less to get annoyed at them. People who have made sense in the past will get more slack in the future. More of "interpret in the best possible way".

It's natural that those non-members who become members are already in the group of "people who can get away with more".

Grok

I don't know why it is in Fun Forum, but if you don't want this topic, move it to my forum (sans disrespectful unfunny picture).

Adron

Well, it's off-topic and virtually dead by now..
