Yes, that's what it is.  SYN is a tcp flack, much like ACK, PSH, etc, but because of how SYN works (which I don't pretend to know much about), it causes the connection to get crappy.

I'll make a post on my forum about the origin of my name.  I've never even _seen_ aladdin, and didn't take my name from there.

Bsd - I didn't doubt you.  I know you that any 12-year-old with a autorooter can do that same thing and run around telling people he's l33t.  I just don't care.

Not just any kid can create a packet net large enough to do damage. I won't lie. It takes a tad bit of effort. I also won't lie, if I had one I'd probably packet random shit also when I was bored.
