That was the closest character I could find. How is (-) spelled? I asked my math teacher and she didn't know. I was assuming 'Thata' but wasn't sure. :)

It's Theta, eight letter of the greek alphabet, used to represent unknown angles.

Found this in my Favorites - a guide for writing Greek letters.
Greek letters are very often used in mathematics, which makes this a useful link here.
Pretty neat, I guess.
