Well, seeing how I'm posting at the forums occassionally, and even contributed to vL by posting source for a PHP bnet script I developed (with tips on bnet protocol from Kane- kudos to 'em!), might as well jump on board.

For info on who I am, simply hit my profile at my clan.

As for languages I know: QB, VB, PHP, MySQL

Yes, QB. I know a dead and useless language. Unfortunate ain't it? If any more information is desired, feel free to PM me.

There, I'm done jumping on board and fooling myself into thinking I'm part of anything when I'm actually part of nothing at all.

Grand fun, ain't it?

I've said it once, I'll say it again, and I won't stop saying it: kudos to Kane, and Adron. They both have helped me more than anyone else on the internet.

Adieu to everybody else, and code on!
Regards,
Don

I didn't know MySQL was considered a language.

MySQL is a true multi-user, multi-threaded SQL (Structured Query Language) database server.SQL is the most popular database language in the world.MySQL is a client/server implementation that consists of a server daemon mysqld and many different client programs and libraries. The main goals of MySQL are speed, robustness and ease of use.

Development is currently underway to enhance SQL into a
computationally complete language for the definition and
management of persistent, complex objects. This includes:
generalisation and specialisation hierarchies, multiple
inheritance, user defined data types, triggers and
assertions, support for knowledge based systems,
recursive query expressions, and additional data
administration tools. It also includes the specification of
abstract data types (ADTs), object identifiers, methods,
inheritance, polymorphism, encapsulation, and all of the
other facilities normally associated with object data
management.

It would also be important to note that MySQL is a 4th generation language.

I was going to say, it stands for Structured Query Language, and it does have a syntactical structure just like any other language, so I'm pretty sure it's a language, ain't it?
