My Radeon 9800 PRO had a bunch of white dots all sprinkling around. What gives?

could be artifacts. did you overclock? does your radeon get hot? might want to check that out, artifacts lead to bad stuff, are are usually caused by the same thing. go googlewhack 'overclocking gpu' or something similar, shouldn't be hard to find some faqs or something.
