SP2 limits the number of concurrent tcp connections, to prevent the spread of worms.  This can be disabled, I'm told, by doing this:

Here's how to fix the SP2 TCP limit

* START --> RUN --> type "regedit"

* navigate to:
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters"

* Add a new DWORD-value in the right window

* name it TcpNumConnections

* Right click it -> Modify --> type the value fffffe

Although the fact that you can disable it seems to totally defeat the purpose :/

That's the limit of concurrent tcp connections. There's a lower limit on the number of connections being established right now, which is new in sp2, and can't be disabled without hacking as far as I know.

Ok, my friend was wrong, then.  I deleted that post.

Does anybody has a hard limit on the number yet?  In the documentation I read it didn't list anything.
