You gave away the answer to the fun part.  That part is just tedious, and not all that rewarding in the end...

Without giving it away, it's probably alright for some people.  And you don't exactly get the reward, you're given an opportunity to get the reward... but the reward isn't what you're given an opportunity to get.  The reward is the opportunity, so it doesn't matter.
