It occurs to me that you may not be able to sign on at school with a binary bot, either.  The outgoing firewall may simply block all ports except 80, 25, and 21 like they should.

After 3 years, it's on the horizon.  The new JinxBot, and BN#, the managed Battle.net Client library.

Go on Google and search for eopledaily, its a proxy.

My school has no ports blocked.  In fact, I doubt they even have a firewall, and if they do, it's probably not secure or enabled at that.

Different labs are my school are set up differently.  It really depends on what they are used for - the labs that only 3rd year+ CS students can use have a direct internet connection, and can go both ways.  But being Macintosh, security doesn't need to be a big concern, so it's likely that they aren't firewalled.

Really? IIRC, It's California law that schools be connected to a proxy server to monitor content.

If you use NMap it'll list what the port probably does, too.  www.insecure.org
