I logged onto BNet and typed /join good ppl (channel me and my friends hang in)
It disc'ed me and when I tried to log back on it said:

Not really the appropriate venue for such a question...

The appropriate place would be the bot forums.

You didn't wait to get logged in before trying to join a channel. Notice that the last thing it did was say "requesting channel listings and attempting to log on..."

Now, if you wait for it to finish the logon process before sending packets in the middle of it that Battle.net wouldn't expect a client so send...well, then I would guess you'd be able to join that channel of yours.

Note, by the way, that there is an EternalChat support forum. This would have been more appropriate there.

Yes, you can't have everybody...contributing to the main source repository.  That would be stupid and create chaos.

Opensource projects...would be dumb.

No. Not the forums here.

K, one last thing.  I tried using my friends Warcraft CD-Key with it, and it said Key didn't work.  I then tried a KeyGen and it wouldn't take that either.  How can I fix this?  If I can't, then why won't it connect to battle.net?  It just says attempting to log on for a minute, then closes the connection.

As I said before, I'm not sure this is the appropriate venue for technical support.
