It took me 20 minutes going in circles at my ISP's website to finally find an email address to complain that I can't contact my dns servers.  What a pain

And their website ( www.mts.net ) doesn't even directly go to their website anymore.  Beh.

<edit> oh, and God forbid that they should have a status page somewhere that says, "our servers are happy!" or "we're broked"

My ISP's DNS server has an easy to remember IP address: 212.143.212.143
Use that if you wish, I'm sure they won't mind.

Now their tech support and customer service pages are down (404'ing me). Blast!

some other good (and public) DNS servers are:
4.2.2.1
and
4.2.2.2
There are more out there, but it would be best if you found one that you were the least number of hops away from (using say a tracert or traceroute on *nix).

Thanks to both of you! I'm using Yoni's + one of Cipher's, + my own, and at least one of them are working now

And I still haven't gotten an email back from my isp.
