It took me 20 minutes going in circles at my ISP's website to finally find an email address to complain that I can't contact my dns servers.  What a pain :(

And their website ( www.mts.net ) doesn't even directly go to their website anymore.  Beh.

<edit> oh, and God forbid that they should have a status page somewhere that says, "our servers are happy!" or "we're broked"

Yoni

My ISP's DNS server has an easy to remember IP address: 212.143.212.143
Use that if you wish, I'm sure they won't mind.

If it's not fixed by the time I get home, I'll add it.

thanks! :)

Now their tech support and customer service pages are down (404'ing me). Blast!

some other good (and public) DNS servers are:
4.2.2.1
and
4.2.2.2
There are more out there, but it would be best if you found one that you were the least number of hops away from (using say a tracert or traceroute on *nix).

Thanks to both of you! I'm using Yoni's + one of Cipher's, + my own, and at least one of them are working now :)

And I still haven't gotten an email back from my isp.
