I broke my favourite dishes today

I had my favourite plate and my favourite bowl sitting on the floor by my bed, ready to take to the dishwasher, and a jar of pickles slipped out of my hand and broke them BOTH! I could stand to use one, or the other, but both!?  Now I have to use the little bowl and the ugly plate.  

Life sucks! :-(

They weren't unique, but old.. I doubt I could find new versions of them.  And even if I could, they weren't THAT important

I know how you feel iago. After eating out of a certain dish or dishes for a while, you get used to them, and it becomes awkward to have to start eating out of something else. But eh, you'll get used to it.
