need some code for grabbing my cd key

i want to see what my cd key for diablo is.. i know there is a cd key grabber out there.. i just want to know how to do it to see if i can bypass  my banned cd key

It's quite easy to do; just attach to where it reads the cdkey and print it out.  You could also pseudo-replace the key by loading a different value there.

Why do you want to "grab" your cd key? If it's because you've "misplaced" your game's jewel case, and you want to "loan" the game to a friend, I suggest you "buy" another "copy".

Otherwise, I recommend you look into Hook DLLs (HDLs). Not being a Windows programmer I don't know a whole lot about them. Judging from the forum's search results, there used to be a sample HDL at http://www.valhallalegends.com/yoni/SampleHDL.zip, but I now get an error 404 for that link, so I've put it up on my website:
