Recycle Bin Bug?!

I was emptying the recycle bin on Windows XP Professional, and after I had deleted everything. "Empty Recycle Bin" under file wasn't unhighlighted, so I clicked it and got that. I didn't try and see what would happen if I clicked yes, feel free to try it though.

If there's only a single file in the recycle bin, it will ask if you want to delete that file by name. Perhaps that somehow happened..?

No, the recycle bin was already empty.

Are you sure? Make sure you aren't hiding system/hidden files. (Folder Options)

Yeah, I'm sure. It's only happend one time. I tried to recreate the bug earlier today with no success. Maybe Windows was trying to commit suicide? But anyways, just thought some of you would get a kick out of that.

Possibly you upgraded Win9x to WinXP, choosing to write XP to a new directory rather than upgrade the existing OS (win9x). This may have presented an option (or did XP just assume) for the old version to be deleted. Thus the folder "Windows" might have been tossed in the recycle bin.

Nope, XP was always there. Was just one of those weird things that just happen I guess.
