What's a browser helper object?
QuoteEvery generation of humans believed it had all the answers it needed, except for a few mysteries they assumed would be solved at any moment. And they all believed their ancestors were simplistic and deluded. What are the odds that you are the first generation of humans who will understand reality?

After 3 years, it's on the horizon.  The new JinxBot, and BN#, the managed Battle.net Client library.

It's the thing that all those spyware programs install themselves as.  It's basically a plugin manager for IE, but they decided not to use the word "Plugin".

It sounds to me like you're writing spyware or a virus, though.  Trying to cause some havoc, are we?

You're saying a download manager can't be spyware?  Most spyware these days hides in otherwise useful applications, like clocks or calendars or temperature guages or other stupid stuff.
