SuSE and Apple

How well does SuSE 9.1 work with Apple, has anyone had any previous experience? If so what issues did you run across? My friend offered me a decent deal on this G4 Powerbook.

No clue about how well SuSE works on Apple. I suppose there's no harm in trying, and if it fails, you can try some of my software... 

If you really don't like it, maybe you could pass along that deal to me?

I looked around and didn't find anything about it but i talked to a guy that said he used to run it on his G3 and it ran fine.
