Update on keyboard problem:
I switched from 2.6.4 kernel to good ol' 2.6.3 kernel. God damn problem still persists. WHat in th hell, any input will help at this point.  Ive not come across anything like this on any linux forum. I swear its some rare disease.

Yes, it would be a good idea to fix that.  I don't think dialup users (Spht, Mejal) will be happy to view any threads with you posting if they have to download an 800KB avatar image.
