By that I meant stats, admin/amx mod, plug ins that show a message every so often, anti-hack plug in, etc.

Those things are intrusive and annoying. Anti-hack plugins are a joke, namely Half-Life Guard which I loathe because it makes models pop out of no-where.  The only good plugin I've seen is the one on the TSO server.  Metamod has been known to cause problems with hitboxes therefore when ever I played cal matches, I'd ask them to disable metamod or use our server (this was before calconfig was intiated).

Anti Hack plugs are for the noobs who download hack programs which HLGUARD and such know about, the rest can be detected by players...

I don't play competitively, however the server I play on runs MULTIPLE plug ins and there are no side effects.

HLGuard is unable to detect files on user's computers, and it's been that way for awhile now.

Bleh, all I know is the server I play on (.) has no cheaters whatsoever, and it is due for the most part to the plug in.

uh huh.

you probably never saw anything wrong when the server was using metamod 1.15, either.

Nope, probably because it never ran metamod 1.15 (or depending on how long ago, never played with it).

if you had adminmod, hlguard, csguard, cheating-death, or a multitude of other plugins going, then metamod was installed.

Blah all I know is in over over a year and a half I have never had any problems on that server, the admins have spent countless hours working on it.

Countless because you don't really know how long, perhaps?
BTW, it'd most likely be the mod programmers fixing bugs, which has little to none to do with the server admins.

I've spent some hours on weekdays when I'm supposed to be in school in the server testing stuff with them and they can actually fix most of it (there are one or two regulars who can make plug ins, so it isn't the admins), but the stuff they can't they uninstall I guess.

You act like servers are breeds of dogs. All admin tools are great if not abused, and now that i think about it i dont care.
I am back! aINC is dead, ThinkTank PRO is alive.
VB, JAVA, ASM, C, its all yummy to me.

No. Many plugins will alter bulllet registration and hitbox placement, Metamod 1.15 being the classic example since it was installed on nearly every dedicated server that ran another plugin.
