OK f'd up little kid...I guess video games/TV is bad

So now any violence is blamed on video games?  I don't remember any video games where you kill your dad and burn down the house.  Perhaps the kid himself should take responsibility.

Heh, true enough.  We talk a lot in statistics about how correlation is not equal to causation.  There can be a high correlation (r > 0.60) with aggressive behaviors in kids and the time they play violent video games or watch violent TV shows.  That doesn't mean they're violent because of these media, though; an alternative rival hypothesis is that these preferences come out of their aggressive personalities.

I'd assume music would have a greater influence on a kid's violent behavior than video games would.
