Is GPL *as is* destructive?

I haven't read the article, but yes, it obviously is.  That's why so many people use FreeBSD (or *BSD).

Yeah, that article told me nothing new.  The GPL is great, as long as everything is GPL'd.  But thats not going to happen. 

That's why I call my bot Public Domain.  It's free, my source is out there, and I really don't care what people do with the code.  If they want to use it, abuse it, and sell it, that doesn't affect me any.  :)
