Someone should try something colder than liquid nitrogen. Liquid nitrogen is 70 degrees Kelvin.
Liquid helium is less than 4 degrees. Why doesn't someone rich try that?

Because liquid nitrogen is ~$2/gallon, but liquid helium is ~$5/liter.

Yeah, until you look at the electric bill.  It takes a lot to keep nitrogen and helium liquid ;\
