Is there any documentation on displaying PCX or MNG files on Visual Basic forms?

I read somewhere that MNG is an animated format of PNG.  I don't know where but the FreeImageLibrary supports them, http://freeimage.sourceforge.net/.

Unfortunately, Smacker files are licensed, and it'd be (as someone said) a waste of time to reverse to put in a bot.

There's a control/library/something for it, but it costs $200+ish for a license.
