Appears i forgot to disable Promiscuous mode option. 

Just installed Wireshark 1.0.7 and unlike version 1.0.0 it didn't capture packets once i selected the interface. So i made sure all the settings were correct and made sure my firewall wasn't blocking Wireshark and it still won't capture. Any ideas?

Java or C# for sure, don't burden yourself with C/C++ unless you are doing some really process intensive routines then maybe do those in a lower level language.

Once you close the dialog editor its gone. Just to test open a new source file then type some gibberish or something in it then close it, it will ask you if you would like to save it.
