Title: CSB newb
Post by: Nodda4you on December 12, 2004, 07:21 PM
Hey everyone. As from the title, you probably know im a newb with VB. Although, I do know the basics. I am trying to make my first bot with CSB. I can't get the connection down. So if someone could please tell me how to make it connect, that would be awesome. Maybe some code?

CSB is very easy to use, and requires no mental power at all. This has also been discussed many times before, so not to sound rude, please use the search feature.  Now if you were having problems with your own code we would be a little bit more inclined to help, but not very many people are going to help you if you come here asking for code.

Just a wild guess, but a server address might be of some use when trying to connect to one.

I think page 73 on the Visual Basic forums has a sample of how to use CSB. Also http://askjivez.com may still have the source codes to an example CSB bot. That should help you out a lot.

Actually nevermind. I'm really tired of these CSB questions and it's getting old with everybody always giving a sarcastic answer. The CSB documentation is gone now, which makes stuff even harder since instead of just posting a link we have to potentially help. Forget it.

Here's something I wrote for a csb contest at the Stealthbot forums over the summer. I didn't finish it, and it's not too good, but it will connect. It's probably less than 30 minutes worth of work, I'd say. Take what you want and do whatever you want with it. You don't have to give credit if you don't want, nobody ever does anyway.
