Post by: DecA on November 26, 2004, 07:28 PM
Hey people, so it would seem someone deleted my topic on"posting your pic" for some really good reason im sure, so how about we post a picture of our workstation.

My workstation on 24-Jul-2004  (http://www.digitaldoozie.net/home/images/yayclean.jpg). It's pretty much the same now, nothing drastically different. I'm getting a new desk and chair on Christmas so I'm looking forward to a cleaner, more professional, workstation.

Haha, some idiot put a "Confidential" stamp near the students's desks.  Just about every piece of paper in our entire office, as well as my old monitor and occasionally me says "Confidential" on it! :)

That's my home :P

On the plus side of my camera phone's horrible picture quality (that's just about the only downside to it -- I have a Sony Ericsson T637) you can barely see the discarded Coke can and other crap lying around... I call it "organized chaos" :)

Nah, I think you and peof are - trying to see what command Yoni is executing.

Of course, then again, I was curious as to what was in command prompt in an AMD magazine advertisement. So..:P

When I first posted my workstation, I said I was redoing it. Well, I think I'm mostly finished and most stuff was changed. I'm pretty happy with how it is now, only I'm lacking a lot of storage and have all of my programming books and stuff in totes.

Before (http://www.digitaldoozie.net/home/images/yayclean.jpg)

After:

(http://img123.exs.cx/img123/1030/desk0016yy.th.jpg) (http://img123.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img123ℑ=desk0016yy.jpg)
(http://img153.exs.cx/img153/3677/desk0026zb.th.jpg) (http://img153.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img153ℑ=desk0026zb.jpg)
(http://img80.exs.cx/img80/9548/desk0038rd.th.jpg) (http://img80.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img80ℑ=desk0038rd.jpg)
(http://img80.exs.cx/img80/2315/desk0048kf.th.jpg) (http://img80.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img80ℑ=desk0048kf.jpg)

And before you jump down my throat about the speakers, it's actually a 5.1 set not a 2.1 but my onboard sound sucks and it wouldn't let me do 5.1 (or, if it allows it, it didn't work).

A telephone! (You might have to cut your mobo a few times to make it fit though.

Not if its an old old old cell phone :P

some of my ideas also included an old system, like build it inside of an old IMB DOS box. But those things are expencive on ebay and shipping would be a pain. Also a circuit breaker, because it is simple and it has a door on it, but it would be too boreing.

Build it into your wall.
And how portable would that be.

the other day on ebay I saw an SGI rack server case on ebay. I was so tempted to bid on that thing.... Think of it, my rinkydink low end p4 server on a mobo that does not even have an apg slot running inside of an SGI Case. :P

Not very portable, but it would be really cool to just have a drive and a few power buttons and stuff in your wall, but you'd have to do a lot of wall fixing afterwards.

I guess it would be alright... but I really need something I can take w/ me if I ever move.

'wall's are an abstract. That's where wallhacks come in, they take the idea of an abstract object and turn it into another abstract object, 'space', which allows you to see through walls, shoot through walls, or both.

Imagine having a wallhack on while trying to mount something to the wall. It would just fall down. Maybe that's why sometimes pictures fall to the ground after being mounted, SOMEONE IS WALLHACKING!!! OMFG!!! TURN THAT SHIT OFF YOU'RE LAGGING THE GAME@!(@*^$

Damn hackers. They think they're so l33t.

Yes it does. It means "if you move, take your wall (and the computer residing within it) with you."

Yes, just remove a wall from the house... and mess everything up while I am at it.
