Title: Cell Phone
Post by: hismajesty on November 15, 2004, 06:10 PM
I get bored in AP Computer Science after I finish and stuff, and my cell phone doesn't have Get It Now so I can't just download games. What do I need to be able to 1) write software (games, mainly) for a cell phone and 2) how would I get it on there?

I have a LG VX-3200 (http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?p=443) phone with Verizion Wireless service. Thanks.

I think crazed wrote some kind of program for cell phones? Maybe you could ask him.

You would need j2me (http://java.sun.com/j2me/index.jsp).

I don't see anything on that page about the phone supporting Java.  But it would make sense to ask on the phone's forum (http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/p_forum.php?p=443).

You need a data cable to your phone, you can then load anything on it you want
