Title: Verizon Fios
Post by: Thing on October 18, 2004, 05:54 PM
The guys are in my neighborhood laying out the fiber!  Soon I will need to use a seatbelt while browsing the web.   ;D

./edit  I went out and talked to the boss worker and he said that we should be online by next Spring.  :)

Altrio was rolling out fiber in Arcadia, Pasadena, and Monrovia about a year back. They were sold to Champion Communications, so I don't know if they're going to extend their network beyond those cities.  Their service was cheap and excellent.

They told me mid 2005. Carrollton and Coppell are different sides of 35? Unless that highway going over Beltline, on the way into Carrollton, is 35, I think it's 121 though. I really don't know. I don't go to Carrollton too much. :-P
