Question:
Which mathematician is better?
Option 1: Euler, Leonhard (1707-1783)
Option 2: Gauss, Karl Friedrich (1777-1855)
Gauss, because I like the story about him summing the integers from 1 to 100. Essentially he did this in elementary school:
1 + 2 + ... + 99 + 100
100 + 99 + ... + 2 + 1
----------------------------
101 + 101 + ... + 101 + 101
101 * 100 / 2 = 10100 / 2 = 5050
eMazing.
Euler. Gotta respect anyone that keeps on cranking out theorems and such after he goes blind.

Why in god's name does this book call this theorem "Euler's theorem?" Do you have any bloody idea how many theorems Euler came up with? And he still had time to have 13 children.
Euler is one of the greatest people to live. You all should vote for him :).
