Actually, our defense (and Miami's) played great. I can't blame FSU's defense for saying "fuck this" and giving up the TD in OT after Rix gave away the ball and any chance for even a field goal.
Both offenses sucked, Frank Gore is the real deal, but so is Booker and Washington. Rix is going to be benched and never start another FSU game, in all likelihood. You should see the FSU coaches remarks, especially Coach Mora. He was cussing up a storm about how the offensive play "sucked". I'll try to find it again and post.
We need to just accept that Rix will never grow into his potential, and will make stupid mistakes, let him take the backup role to Wyatt Sexton, or maybe make Rix third string clipboard holder.
FSU's offense was god awful. What was it, 156 total yards?
