Has anyone looked at the frozen throne login? It seems it would be pretty straight forward. 0x51 would be identical to LOD's, and then 0x52-0x58.
I'm just wondering what the product ID(W3XP?) and the version byte are?

Actually, the entire protocol is encrypted, and all of the packet IDs are scrambled.
Maddax, while you are not wrong in asking him... I would suggest that you try it on your own before asking! If you want any tools I suggest (Win32Dasm, Softice (2.6 for XP), TSearch, etc etc)
P.S. If you have the money you could get a copy of IDA

WinDbg (http://www.microsoft.com/ddk/debugging/) is also an excellent debugger, particularly if SoftICE locks up your system like it does to mine.

I don't have Warcraft 3 or the frozen throne beta.
In that case, might I suggest waiting for the retail version?
