This thread got off topic.
Ah yes, that's what people were assuming.
You didn't happen to get the flags of the Blizzard North status, did you?
If you get the icons file for the client in question, the flags and icon image will be in there.
I didn't get the flags because I actually wasn't the one who saw GilS.PR in there. I believe it was ChRoNiC.
Since the red Blizzard icon isn't in icons.bni, UserLoser said they must put up a special icons.bni when World of WarCraft meetings take place on Battle.net
(GilS.PR was on the red icon in a WoW meeting in channel 24423LKN)
Or the image is in the client it self? eg. Japan spawn icon.

How would the client know that
x user should have this icon?
JSTR can't join channel 24423LKN.

JSTR can't join channel 24423LKN.
That is completely irrelevant.

The screen shot of the red icon could not have been taken from a JSTR client because JSTR can't join the channel that the screen shot was taken from. How is that irrelivant?

No one said it was taken from a JSTR client. Go reread the thread.

You're confused. There is no JSTR spawn icon in icons.bni, AFAIK, and like Dragon stated, it's stored locally in the client somewhere in a MPQ probably.
I know the icon is stored in the game installation, and not in icons.bni.
