It's usually quite easy, bring them up believing it. We all believe that democracy is good, and freedom is good, monogamy is good (although that one is debatable), and capitalism is good, but nobody's ever proven it. We were just brought up for our entire life being told that those are good, so we can't think otherwise.
I'm not saying that it's necessarely a lie, I'm saying that, if it was, it was very easy to make us believe it by giving us no alternative.
