No official statement has been made about that yet. If something changes on Battle.net to make the current EternalChat unusable, I'll make the necessary change.
The current Battle.net bot related project I do work on is SphtBotv3 (http://www.valhallalegends.com/spht/SphtBotv3/). So if you want to stay up-to-date, switch to SphtBotv3.
