On your clan tag "vL" why do you uppercase the L? I thought you guys are grammatically correct and all, certinly you know when you apply letters for words like "Valhalla Legends" the V should be capitilized too, [VL] would be correct.
This isn't a gripe/bitching/flame thread at all, I am merely wondering why.
Edit: I know clans have a tradition of making thier tags all incorrect, I still don't see why the L in vL is capitilzed, elaborate on the history of the tag please.
It looks c00ler. Duh.
OK. When I created the clan, and decided on the name Valhalla Legends, we needed a tag. All power clans of the day used upper-case letters, DK, RC, TGK, HK, NL$, ad infinitum. I wanted ours to be different, and VL was harder to distinguish, so picked vL. That was 12/1999.
Initially it was ^vL^Grok, but since those looked stupid, like seagull wings, someone suggested and started using [vL]. That was around 4/2000.
Interesting. I guess clans want to be different, those who are usually succeed.
Then everybody copied vL (zL, xL, ad infinitum) because everybody wants to be like us :)
