Yeah, the author of phatbot was also arrested. His dev team wasn't arrested though, and theres new versions of phatbot out.
Speaking of PhatBot, someone in my family downloaded it as there is tons of traffic on port 65506. :(

But they make it seem like worms are such a bad thing. In my opinion, worms are great! If it wasn't for Sasser, there would be millions of unpatched computers (because as long as nothing is going wrong, why bother updating?) which would allow crackers to compromise their documents/etc. for malicious purposes. At least the only things that worms like Sasser so is spread themselves.
