Title: SphtBotv3 RTB Problem
Post by: Archonist on May 08, 2004, 07:52 PM
The problem is that everytime new text is added to the RTB it scrolls down so I have nothing but blank space and I need to scroll back up to see the text. Does anyone else have this problem? If so, can it be fixed?

I've never experienced this.

I've got a problem in the RTB also, but mine is a little different, the colors for url's in the RTB are black:   ???

Text: "[19:23:44] A Valhalla Legends production (www.valhallalegends.com)."
Visual Text: "[19:23:44] A Valhalla Legends production (                                    )."

Are you experiencing the chat box clear problems on Windows 95/98/ME?  I'm surprised it even runs on those operating systems.  The bot was designed for systems with NT kernels.

Regarding the black URL, could you give me permission to e-mail you a test application to determine what is causing that problem, and if it's what I think it is, I'll fix it in the next SphtBotv3 build?  Thanks.

Update:

The behaviour you describe with chat box scroll not working and text behaving oddly has only been observed on Windows 95/98/ME -- The bot was designed for systems with NT kernels (Windows NT 4.0/2000/XP/Server 2003/Longhorn).  Upgrade system.

The black URL problem has only been observed on Windows XP systems which are using the Silver theme. Until there is a fix for this, you should simply choose a different theme.

Lies!  You asked me about my theme and I told you I don't use silver and get black URLs!

You use some downloaded theme which has the same problem.  The only theme which is shipped with Windows XP which has this issue is the Silver theme.  No one cares about buggy non-Microsoft themes.

Yes no one cares about anything not made officially by Microsoft.  I'm sure that's why so many non-MS things are used.
