Why wouldn't you want to see someone get his ass kicked? Frankly I'm all up for it, especially when it's a notorious hacker.

Then I am a total ass hole. I was enjoying myself when one girl ripped the weave off of another girl in a fight at our school. I laughed my butt off when our cop maced herself while trying to break up the fight... she had to call in backup. It was one of the funniest things I have ever seen.
I don't think I'd classify myself as a total asshole, but I would enjoy seeing it. Then there's also the trouble that could come out of it because it was publicly organized, it could be fun stuff.

Because it happens to me so much, I enjoy seeing others experience it, and it makes me happy because I know I'm not the one suffering. If joy doesn't come out of suffering, what good does?

As a small aside, there's a big difference between hurting yourself for amusement (Jackass), and hurting others for fun. The first is a little weird, but whatever floats your boat. The second is just perverted.
I don't like seeing someone get their ass totally kicked for no reason, but watching someone get punked off I find amusing. A few punches never hurt anyone, you shrug it off and keep going with your day. If someone pisses you off and you both wanna fight then you go at it until one or the other admits their beaten. It's not such a bad thing as long as no one is seriously injured.
