I just recently noticed the fact that I never even really realized the absence of the +/- Karma options. Does anybody even miss having karma?

I'm surprised, I hated it, I had really bad rating, and was glad to see it go. But it felt nice to toast someone who helped and roast someone for being a moron. Aside from the abuse it went through by morons, I liked the idea of it.

I don't miss it at all.  It caused more problems than it solved.  I'm perfectly happy that it's gone.

He might mean those posts that were around simply to say that +/- karma was given but added nothing to the discussion.

Of course I knew what he was talking about.  But I don't see this thread adding to the goodness of the board in any way :)
