I still say that's not a coincidence.  Pie was invented to be ~3.14 because it suited Einstein's birthday :)

hmm, it will be more interesting in 2016 when it's 3/14/16.  Better yet in 1593 when it was 3/14/1593

Doesn't it go something like: "pi pi pi, 3 point 1 4 1 5 9, pi pi pi, 2 6 5 3 5 8 9"?

I call it rounding off, but same deal.

I prefer the simpsons one, "1 plus 1 plus 3 is five, here are the digits that make up pie, 3 . 1 4 1 5 9 2 6 5 3 5 7......"
