Some of you may already know of it but I just found it today and found it very handy.
Alright who told Thing about the secret site?
I always wanted AOL 1.0 back...
Wow, that could prove to be very useful.
I have recognized the problem of losing old software a long time ago, and found a different solution for it: C:\Misc\Installers.
I put installers for programs I download (or zips if the program doesn't require installation) there and rarely ever delete anything.
The current size is 1.15 GB (some backed up on CDs).

I've been doing that as well, but I don't have that many installs. Oldest thing in my D:\Programs (252MB) is hiew616.zip which dates back to February 2001.
I would really call it a secret a site to begin with.
Btw, is it just me or is this really annoying to read:

Just you. Adjust your monitor's contrast.
It's somewhat annoying, yes.
I've been looking for Winamp 1. I hate how bloated the newer winamps are.

Yeah I have the same problem, I prefer it being folded up and docked in the top left of my screen, nice and square and simple to use, and the people who are skinning them now are idiots.
:P I hope you weren't using 3.x
2.x/5.x > 3.x
I use 2.9; yea I found that annoying to read (the slogan)
