Not a bad game xept too short.
I noticed that too, I don't like beating games in a few hours. Especially games I paid full price for.
i paid just 1$ for it burnt copy. It was worth that i think. ;D

Yeah of course the hundreds of hours of programming and debugging and the millions of dollars that went into it come out to a $1 game.

From what i've read and I think it was this forum. They don't condone the piracy of software. So you may want to keep it to yourself if you do.

If I owed you $10 and I gave you a lollipop would that be ok too?
if you gave me around 30 of them, id think bout it. But i'd rather have the 10$. If you owed me 1$ and gave me 2 lollips then that would be fine, but you dont owe me any money, so why are we discussing this?
Copying is wrong. I think its ok to copy films as long as you buy them when they come out at shops.

I'm tring to say CDs are worthless unless there is something you want on it, it doesn't matter you obviously couldn't care less.

Empty or rewriteable CDs are worth something!

If someone owed you $2 and instead gave you a blank CDRW, would you be happy?

No. A DVD-RW would do though.
Damn, I was going to ask you for $2.

how is copying wrong? someone had to pay for it at one time or another.... all that most people do is jack up prices... a new game comes out lets say ummm... warcraft 4: legion of the lost soul.... they are going to charge 60$+
Copying is very wrong. If you want the game enough to steal it it's probably worth buying.
And $60 isn't shit when it comes to money these days.

What's the target age on some of these games, 12-18? Half of the target audience doesn't have a job let alone a full time job, and the other half is either flipping burgers for minimum wage or stuck in student loans up to their ears.
In perspective, I'd say $60 is a significant amount of money. I'd LOVE to have $60 extra dollars cash. I could get some good food for a change.

Exactly, mommy and daddy pay for things, special occasions, birthdays, christmas, sometimes just when the kid needs something to play. I can still get money for a video game from my parents, although I rather pay for it myself.
That's not to say $60 is nothing, it's just not too much, especially for something that could entertain you for hundreds of hours.

It's fine for something that will entertain you for hundreds of hours, but not all games are that good. By pirating the game, you can find out if it's good or not.

By pirating the game, you are ripping off the programmers/company who spent hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars on it.
I guess if you pirate it with intention to buy it if it doesn't totally blow ass or runs decent on your system is ok (by my/our standards), but that's really what demos are for. UT2004 had a great demo, unfortunately I was tired of the UT series, however I would have loved to go buy it if it was the first I had played. Because the demo ruled and the full version added more.

The drawback of a demo is that the demo may be a large or small part of the game. If you're unlucky, you'll find a demo of a really nice game that you play 1 hour before beating and really like. Then you pay $60 to get the game and beat the whole thing in 2 hours. And then you feel you've been had.

You can't beat multiplayer.

Last time I heard, the average age of a gamer is 28.

They obviously weren't talking about maturity then.... And I doubt it's that high... Very highly doubt.
