i tried vodka once, it was 40% alcohol. i had one shot and almost puked, how can you guys drink that shit
You don't drink shots. If it was in shot form, it's meant to be downed in one go.
Now, if you were going to actually drink Vodka, you'd mix it with something. Orange juice is a pretty good chaser for Vodka - it's called a screwdriver. I also tend to find that Coca Cola chases most common liquors pretty well: vodka, rum, some forms of whiskey, and it goes exceptionally well with So-Co.
I'm a fan of Depth Charges myself.

Either you man up and down it in one shot or you mix it, as Zakath suggested. Vodka should be kept in your freezer 'til party time. Besides what Zakath mentioned, Vodka can be mixed with about anything, since it has no flavor of its own. Some favorites: Lemonade, Sprite, Kool-Ade, Cranberry Juice, Apple Juice, any fruit juice...If you mix it right you won't even taste it, but you'll end up pretty drunk. Beware of mixing with overly sweet drinks; you'll get sick not from the alcohol but from all the sugar.
I'm a big believer in slipping it in Mountain Dew. Worked on my ex-girlfriend on more than a few occasions.

No. Plus she knew she was getting tipsy, she didn't care. Its okay to like it.

Don't drink screwdrivers, you'll have a distasting for orange juice for months.

Haha, I totally agree. Last time I drank (back in '02, I think), I was mixing OJ and something (I can't remember what). It seemed good at the time, but I haven't drank orange juice since.

Takes an idiot. Most alcoholics use it as an excuse as dark beer is meant to be healthy.

Only idiots drink Guinness is that what you're trying to say? Most alcoholics don't use being a man as an excuse for drinking... where are you getting this from?
Alcoholics will use anything as an excuse to drink. Being a man is a typical excuse, but there are a lot of others.

I can honestly say I've never heard an alcoholic use their gender as an excuse but thats just me.
You CHASE with BEER.
I almost always drink:

If we're talking non-alcoholic, either water or ginger ale.
my alcoholic wife uses the excuse she wishes she were a man
guiness is the shit and domestic beer is shit
With all this talk about Guiness, its about time to give you all a bit of an alcohol lesson.
The Guiness you buy in the US is Brewed in Canada. It has less calories than coke, pepsi or domestic American beers such as Bud and Miller. Guiness draft also has less less alcohol than most people think (only ~ 4.2%abv).
Guiness also has a very unusual taste even compared to other Stouts. I've never seen another beer cascade as beautifully when poured.
Just for clarification, all my comments here do not refer to Guiness extra stout.
I'm talkin about guiness on tap... don't remeber if its stought or draught..
but i prefer patron silver label...

On tap, draft and draught mean the same thing, that the beer is on tap.
By stought I think you were combing the word stout and drought somehow. Guiness is a stout. Stout is a type of beer. Take a look at this link for clarification http://www.samadams.com/beer/about/styles_tree.html (http://www.samadams.com/beer/about/styles_tree.html)
Guiness sells stout and drought in the bottle and can and I was thinking they spelled stought different on their bottles. Doesn't really matter to much anyway it's just the only beer i drink and i don't drink beer that much. If I drink at all I prefer whiskey or tequilla.

Guiness only makes stout (I am not talking about the other beers made by the Guiness brewing company not called Guiness such as Harp)
What they mean by drought on the Guiness bottle is that its supposed to taste like its Guiness Stout on draft (draught). Its just a marketing thing like Miller with Miller Genuine Draft.

Smirnoff Ice is great (Triple Black is better then original though :p), I prefere a malt liquor beverage like that over a beer occationally and if I'm only going to be having one or 2.

Some time ago I had way too many of those. There's nothing worse than lethal sugar and alcohol at the same time.
The sugar is worse. Way more likely to make you puke.
