Title: Love of maths?
Post by: Meh on January 19, 2004, 03:48 PM
Yoni, why do you love maths so much? Do you intend to be the next Einstein or do you get a kick out of it? Is it just you or are all your freinds like you?

I mean im proud when I can work out a Sine/Cosine question at school.

I like math because it's logical and follows rules, yet it contains unknowns. It's amazing really, how there can be things to discover in something that's based on rules instead of on studying nature (natural science).

I don't intend to be the next Einstein, he was a theoretical physicist, not a mathematician. I'm not into physics as much. Next Euler maybe... :)
No, it's just me. My friends either suck at math or just don't like it nearly as much :(

I love math because it kicks ass. Math is the only thing that existed before the universe was created and is the only thing that will exist after it is destoryed. It is an absolute science that requires nothing to exist.

I suppose maths is awsome even if I suck at it. I am a more of a physics kind. I find the universe extrodanary.  :)

You've never seen Velveeta?

No, what's that? A Google search reveals it's a type of cheese spread... What does that have to do with mathematics?

Jump on the bandwagon with them all!!

Haha, math is kinda boring, specially algebra, it gets to strenuous.  Maybe its just me, the lazy type.

It's rather like Cheese Whiz and Molassis, in that they are impossible to clean up and destroy, and they'll exist long after the universe has been destroyed.  I've tried to clain a plate that had melted Velveeta dried onto it before.  You'd might as well replace the plate!

It's nothing but a bunch of molecules. Nothing a Gnab Gib couldn't take care of.

Aye, a gnab gib probably would deal with that, wouldn't it...

+1 to Grok for suggesting that Velveeta would exist after the world was destroyed, though :)

Please look at the date of the last post before posting, especially if it's something that can go pretty much into any thread on this forum.
