Anyone know of something fun to do with a date, on New Years eve, prior to drinking?
Well, last new years I installed a new power supply in my friend's computer! :)

Sure, to avoid waking up next to ugly women in the morning... I recommend picking out the random women you plan on being with before getting drunk. If not that then usually dinner + football games tend to be popular :p
Edit: Ok, I actually read your entire line this time *am sick :P * and Hostile usually takes his dates out to a nice dinner/even a sports bar/restraunt is good since they are very lively. Either that or you're bound to know someone who will be having a football party and food.

I quite enjoy it, honestly.
I'm more worried about how the hell it took you all night to install the power supply :P

It was technically my friend, but it was still on new years eve, prior to drinking (which was easy because I didn't drink, but I mean prior to parties/whatever)
But if you don't drink on every day that could be viewed as a possible drinking opportunity (holidays, birthdays, weekends, days where a teacher said 'the', etc) then you live a dull, pointless life with no possible fun in it!

If you think that you need to drink to have a good time, then you live a dull, pointless life with no real fun in it.

If you're in the LA area during that time and are over 21, I suggest going to Giant (http://www.giantclub.com/). If you're under 21, I suggest going here (http://www.newyearsevela.com). That's if you're into clubs and stuff.

haha yeah, that wasn't actually reverse psychology at all. It was just turning around his statement :)
Reverse Psychology is usually used on nieve people that will be predictably resistant, in which case you imply the opposite of what you would like them to do in order to manipulate them into doing the true intention.
Didn't apply either since my post was saturated with sarcasm.
