I wanna know what got you involved in the computer when you first came on. Which games were you addicted to if it was online or just playing them on your computer.
I remember the game that got me addicted was a game called scorched earth. it was a game with tanks that shot each other and you could buy weapons and shoot other tanks with them like funky bombs and nukes and such.
I was always fasinated with the Need for Speed games. My cousin and I would race on our steering wheels all the time. It was so fun. I got all the old and origonal ones somewhere around my house.
I remember the old days of my tandy, it owned so much. I remember some game packs on disks or something (can't remember what they were called :()they were so fun at the time.
I used to play a game where you shot men in wheelchairs I think it was. Might've been called Terror. Mejal might remember more about it.

I'm fairly sure that those Worms games are newer than Warcraft II.

CD? The game pack things I'm talking about were before CD-Roms existed :P
I don't really remember.
Warcraft 1, I think it was.
There was also Wolfenstein, Doom, and Spear of Destiny (I think that was a Wolfenstein expansion pack)
This was many years before I got my first computer.
You can't leave out Commander Keen!
The first real online game was EMPIRE, two decades ahead of Doom.
My gaming began in 1977 at Florida State University on their PLATO systems. See the second picture down (PLATO IV touch station) on this article.

haha, I'm always saying how much fun Commander Keen was and the first Duke Nukem. Those were about my first games on DOS that and this game called Jill of the Jungle heehe :x was awesome.
My -first- PC game that I loved and still do was Dig Dug on my old commodor. (Old commodor still works actually but its a pain in the ass to set up on to the TV) hehe
First video game all togather, well thats simple~ Super Mario Bros. considering I was 2~3 years old my first memories were mainly watching my father and uncle playing it hehe.
Shit, now I got more memories. Of even more old games. Holy shit hehehhe
Of game CD packs that had like .. 50 games. Fuck, I can't even name the damn games. :(
I just remember a whole fuckload of little pictures of games, and you can click them and a demo loads! =D
If I remember Ill post it later. Maybe even play it if I see a picture o_0
And I found my old apogee game pack. It won't even load :'(
Lode runner and Scepter, played on a Mac around '86.
Earliest I remember is excite-a-bike for the NES at my cousin's house...
Oh I thought this was just computers, I played Zelda on NES. But my favorite game was road rash on SNES.
Me too. I played some game with a hamburger theme on an atari console a very long time ago.. It was an arcade platform type game.

Maybe it's odd that you started playing a new game, then went back a couple generations to an old game?

1. StarInvaders at ABC80 and Boulder Dash and Graverty Force at C64.

Today we had visitors from "Game Over" at my job. A group of people addicted to gaming and training to get over it.
Do you think I should join the group? :-[
Think of poor little hostile, who would he have as a gaming buddy then? Adron is at his maximum skill and we all know Grok isn't getting and better either! hehe :P You're my only hope!

I hope to God they aren't paying for that, because that just shows a weak will. It's like the people who lose friends and family because they can't stop chatting on yahoo or something, very sad.
Gaming is good, it's a way to relax (most of the time), you just can't take it too seriously.
What game does vL play now?
Ghost recon they play

First computer game I played was some DOS game called Space Wars. Wonder if I could find that again.
I could make it for you if you can give me a thorough enough description.
I remember playing Kings Quest and Cosmo Cosmic Adventure with Commander Keen.
King's Quest I for DOS i think. I remember some old dude who kept turning you into a cat or something like that. And fighting a dragon with a butter knife. Those were the days :P

Burger Time!!!
Intellivision was rox0r. I had an intellivision since I was born, and I played it *all* the time. My favourites were a D&D game (Minotaur), Bump and Jump, Pinball, Burger Time, Utopia, Dungeons and Dragons (not minotaur, different one), and many, many others I can't even remember. I've been meaning to hook it back up recently :)
For computers, the first games I played a lot were WEP games (Windows Entertainment Pack - came on 4 floppies, and was for win3.1.. is that the one you mean? - especially JezzBall. Also, Hugo's House of Whores (Wait, it was Hugo's House of Horrors, my mistake). I remember playing that game a LONG time ago, and thinking, "I wish I knew hyow to write a program like this!" That was what actually made me start learning programming.
After that, I played nibbles a lot. It was written in QBasic, and I took every part of that game apart and figured out how it works. By the time I was done with it, I know a hell of a lot more about programming than I did before it.
The game that got me into computers was Command and Conquer 1, the game is so bad. The graphics are horrible!
Who cares about graphics if the game is good? Graphics alone makes something pretty to look at, not a good game.

Flashy graphics don't make a good game...
