No, it's not warez.. they've officially released a demo of Deus Ex 2. Try it out!
I hear it sucks, and I doubt it'll run on my computer, but I'd like to hear opinions on it :)
I dont like Deus X games, Battlefield1942 and Counter-Strike is all I need to get by ;)
I've got about 10 minutes left on my download.
I'll get back to you on it.
AMD Athlon XP 2000+ (1.67 Ghz)
512 MB RAM
MSI GeForce4 Ti 4200 64MB
I've got just over an hour:
AMD 1500+ 1 or 1.33ghz (1.33 runs pretty how)
512mb RAM, -64 shared with video.
We'll see how it works here :)
I can't run it.
"Requires video card with pixel shader version 1.1 or higher"
I'm downloading it now. Deus Ex was an amazing game, I've been looking forward to the sequel for a long time now.
I'm told the sequel doesn't stand up to the original. But that's just a single opinion.
I kind of liked the original, and didn't really like this demo. With good looking graphics it was jumpy; with decent looking ones it was playable, but I just didn't find it fun.
I just played through most of the demo, and it looks to be every bit as good as the first one -- although a bit choppy at 800x600 with 2X AA on my GeForce FX 5600. It ran smoothly at 640x480 with higher AA, and it's graphically awesome -- Havok physics, anyone? ;)
Installed it, Uninstalled it 5minutes later, not my kind of game.
I can't get over the new crappy interface.
I cant even play it but I have played the first, didnt like it.
The first was definately my favourite FPS game, by far. I like how it made you think rather than go around killing everything.
Play BF1942 its the best.

Sorry, BF1942 sucks as an

I said, if you're into the WW2 thang. So why don't you shut up?
I'm not stating anything towards call of duty, see how I never mention it in my post? I was merely stating the fact that there are a LOT of world war 2 games out there, and it is very repetitive and just slightly boring.

Well I only plan to get like a couple games on the comp [ I plan to go Xbox Live with Counter-Strike. Mech Assualt, Project Gotham 2 and others] so thats why I am only going to buy: Call of Duty, Battle Field 1942, C++.net and a book.
Then the rest is Xbox live games! Oh yeah an ATI Radeon 9600 or is there 9800 yet?
Yes, there is a 9800 and it is $600. 9700 is $400, and the 9600 is $250. The 9500 is $200.
My friend managed to overclock the 9500 to a 9800, but goodluck with that.
How do you overclock a graphics card? Lets see hmm Im gunna over clock my voodo 3dfx to a gforce lol!

Wow, where the hell are you getting those prices from? You can get any of those much much cheaper. Should be able to easily get a 9800 for ~$350, a 9700 for ~$250, and a 9600 for ~$100.
