When somebody takes a bit out of something (anything) that's horribly spicy, why is it that they drink water to try to cool it down? Spicy != hot in the sense that liquid won't cool it down, so it makes not sense to drink!
Anyway, that's another random thought. yay.
Ah yes that reminds me. I need to try Things Wings.
Temporary relief.

You should really write your own book, "Defending networks while your turkey roasts" It would sell millions!

If you like spicy, Indian food is the best.

Not a chance. I had an Indian roommate for 5 months, until the end of 2002. Can you say 1001 ways to cook rice? Every day he'd put rice in the cooker for hours and smell up the house with his chopped stewed pureed vegatables and Indian spices. I am so glad he had to leave. Of course, his programming sucked so the company didn't renew his contract.
I tried his food and found the hot to be merely hot. There's a big difference in hot when it comes from heat instead of from taste.
I worked for these Indian guys up in Kansas and they made this chicken stuff that had chili paste or habenero or something. It was the hottest shit i ever tasted.
