I wrote a very simple bot in Java. It just logs on as CHAT and displays, on a console, information. I've only implemented stuff for about 10 events, but it's just a start.
Anyway, it's very pretty, uses polymorphism and inheritance and stuff, and also includes a Binary Buffer class written in Java (which is never pretty to do).
You can get it here:

You wrote a binary buffer for a CHAT client?

Of course!!
Actually, I'm eventually (doubtfully soon) make it a binary connection.
I just realized I forgot to parse TALK events.
Also, I'm almost done a small GUI for it. I'll post an updated version later today or tomorrow.
The name JavaBot is taken :)
It's not a final name, it's a logical working name, because for now I'm not creative enough to make an original name.
I added a gui, it's still ugly but eh?

Already wrote an applet to log onto chat couple years ago, hehe. gogo botlet ^^
Edit: If you want, you'll have to get in line for I'm the process of finding it. Was going to use it as a code example for vL.
name it TexanBot since you love us texans :D
