Title: Another mind boggler
Post by: Gangz on October 26, 2003, 01:39 AM
If anyone collects illies they may have encountered this problem. when i try to log on (V)_O.o_(V) or ']['{MONEY}'][' on a bot it says invalid pass. well actually it is most illys that start with (. They wont log on witha  bot but they will work on a client.I cannot load (V)_o.O_(V) on any bot i ever tried but (R'-')r works. I tried BNLS connection CSB connection BNLS connections. Anyone got a answer for this 1..Im interested to hear whats to be said about this 1

Maybe you didn't have your password lowercased on the bot, if the bot doesn't do that, since the actual game clients don't allow you to do upper cased passwords, and force them to be lower cased.  Or, doesn't the ' character not work too good with GetPrivateProfile*?

What?  Do you actually know what you're saying here, or are you just throwing out buzzwords?

My bot won't allow me to send passwords that are ASCII. I havn't tried on other bots, but that may be your problem. Any idea how to fix it?
Then what do you send it as?  Unicode?

It's true, if I'm busy I'll just go down the list and check threads that have names that I understand.
