Anyone know where i can get the icons for starcraft/brood war. The "star" ones.
1 win = halve star
2 win = one star
3 win = star / halve or star
etc.

I can think of two ways. Either extract them from their MPQ file, or take a screenshot and manually extract the icons.

Or download them from bnet... 'icons.bni'

The icons with stars are not in icons.bni.

They're in icons_STAR.bni

I just download icons_STAR.bni from Battle.net using DarkMinion's Battle.net File Downloader (http://botdev.valhallalegends.com/files/fdsrc.zip) and viewed it using Skywing's Icon Viewer (http://botdev.valhallalegends.com/files/iconview.zip). There are only KBK icons in this file; the icons that Ithien is looking for are not there. I believe the icons he is looking for are stored in one of the MPQs used by Starcraft.

Yeah, the wins icons aren't in any of the icons files

Found them. They're stored in BrooDat.mpq (for Brood War atleast) under the path glue\Battle.net\icons\icons.pcx

Remember that BrooDat.mpq and StarDat.mpq generally contain data from the CD version.  patch_rt.mpq will have the most recent (as in, updated by a patch) versions -- this MPQ has a higher priority than BrooDat/StarDat, so the game will check it first for a file before falling back to BrooDat/StarDat.

all the icons are on www.battle.net somewhere im sure u can find em all the only ones that arn't are lag icons.

just go in a bunch of chat rooms and take ss 2 get the lag icons
